Why SIP with Suri?
The story behind the inception of this initiative!
I have been meaning to start a newsletter for the longest time, but what to write about was always the question. I always kept asking myself, what topic piques my interest and will never bore me in the long run.
“How do you invest your money?” is a question I ask folks once I figure they are interested in the topic and it has always led to amazing conversations. But I was not sure if people will be open to share this information with a broader audience. Then one day I came across this tweet from Sampad and light bulb went on in my head!
What if the smartest folks around us started talking openly about money? What if they shared how they are investing their money? What are the mistakes they made when they started out? What was their relationship with money when they were young? How they thought about it when they didn’t have enough of it? What is their current relationship with money?
With the hope of unpacking these questions, getting a peek inside the money brains of smart people around us and with the goal of facilitating more open conversations around money, I bring to you - SIP with Suri.
And since Sampad’s tweet somehow put this idea in my head, it was only right to have him as the first guest on this newsletter. I asked and he graciously agreed to share his money stories & philosophies. He has shared very candidly and I hope the readers enjoy our conversation.
